Launching our Research and Innovation Strategy and action plan
We’ve launched our new Research and Innovation Strategy and action plan – a bold, collective vision to embed research, innovation and quality improvement across every part of our profession over the next 10 years.
Co-created with , partners and people with lived experience, the strategy sets out how we’ll build the capacity, capability, context and culture into our profession – to you in shaping the future of occupational therapy.
Whether you're a learner, worker, practitioner, educator or leader, research and innovation are everybody’s business.
Our first action plan sets out our activity over the next three years and includes practical steps and opportunities to help you take the next step – whatever your starting point.
'This strategy is vital in strengthening our profession’s capacity to respond to rapidly evolving health and social care needs. Innovation will encourage greater development and the adoption of creative, evidence-informed approaches that improve outcomes for those we serve and demonstrate the value of OT in new and emerging areas.'
